It's amazing how
i had never realized
how much i had lost
of what was inside

not till i saw you again
till the stinging
over powered my eyes

that i was aware
of how much
of me died

i breathe in your scent
and feel whole
gaze upon you
i found my soul

to feel you
under my fingers
finally no longer
a memory

all of my senses
such a beautiful
bliss for me
